Your Questions, Answered
-
I work with a range of businesses, from small, local companies and makers to growing brands to more established businesses looking for strategic support.
Whether you need a simple, professional website or a more advanced, performance-driven experience, I tailor my approach to your stage and goals.
-
Not at all. Many clients come in with a general idea but need help shaping the structure, messaging, and strategy.
I’ll guide you through the process and help you make smart, practical decisions, whether you're just starting out or refining an existing brand.
-
I will work with you to determine the best platform for your needs.
For service based or informational websites, I like Squarespace or Wix. They have all the basics and can get your website up fast.
For e-commerce (i.e. you plan to have people make purchases on your site) I generally recommend Shopify because it’s flexible, easy to manage on your own (if that’s what you need), and scalable.
-
When working with any business, I am transparent and will tell you like it is.
I keep the process clear and efficient:
Initial consultation to understand your business and goals
Proposal outlining scope, timeline, and investment
Design and build phase
Review and revisions
Launch and post-launch support
For consulting engagements, this process can be customized to ensure all of your needs are met. I can also include audits, strategy development, and ongoing optimization.
After your site is live, I can show you the basics of how to run the platform yourself so you no longer need me. Or if you prefer, I can continue working with you ongoing and handle all of the online tasks so you can stick to managing other parts of your business.
-
This can vary wildly depending on what exactly you need, how many products you need set-up, how much content you have, etc.
Most website projects take 2–6 weeks, depending on scope and complexity.
More advanced builds or strategic engagements may take longer, but I’ll always set clear expectations upfront.
-
Yes. I build sites to be user-friendly so you can manage updates confidently. When the site is ready, I can train you on the basics so you can manage the site on your own.
Or, I can keep working with you and handle all online tasks for you so you can stick to what you love (and avoid what you don’t).
For larger teams, I can also provide guidance on workflows, tools, and best practices to support ongoing management.
-
Each project is unique, so there isn’t really a “typical” price range.
For smaller projects, I typically bill hourly and your finished website could end up costing $500 - $5,000, depending on the project size, functionality, number of products, types of automations, and level of customization.
For ongoing, consulting, or more strategic work, pricing is based on scope and can be structured as a project or ongoing monthly engagement.
Either way, you will receive transparent pricing up front and before anything starts. No surprises.
-
Yes. I also provide fractional executive support and work with businesses that need strategic leadership in areas like:
Website audits and conversion optimization
E-commerce strategy
Customer experience and lifecycle marketing
Platform and technology recommendations
This can be project-based or ongoing advisory support and will be scoped and priced after our initial call to discuss your exact needs.
-
You can, but you don’t need everything ready upfront.
I can guide you on what’s needed, help refine your messaging, and recommend or source imagery where needed.
Any background info you can provide on your business, branding (colors, voice, fonts, etc.) target customer, products, etc. is greatly welcomed and is helpful.
No need to stress; I will provide you with a questionnaire to help you figure these things out.
-
My goal is to combine design with conversion-focused messaging to ensure your website not only looks good but also drives action.
I can absolutely write copy once I am familiar with your brand.
I am not a photographer, but we can work together to find a solution that works for you. I have a vast network that I can tap into to find the right help in certain areas.
-
Absolutely. Whether your site needs a visual refresh, better usability, or stronger performance, I can help modernize and optimize it.
-
That’s always the goal.
I focus on building websites that are not just visually appealing, but structured to convert, through clear messaging, intuitive navigation, and strategic calls-to-action.
But I won’t mislead you here; having a website is necessary, but won’t magically create loads and loads of free website traffic. Following the build, there could be a need for paid ads to drive new customers to your website, as part of any good comprehensive marketing strategy. We can tackle this together as well.
-
I include foundational SEO best practices to ensure your site is set up correctly.
For businesses looking to go deeper, I can provide strategic guidance or recommend additional resources.
-
Yes. I can set up email capture, integrate with platforms like Klaviyo or Mailchimp, and ensure your website supports your broader marketing efforts.
-
You’ll have a fully functional site and the knowledge to manage it.
If needed, I can continue to support you with updates, optimization, a broader digital strategy, and even other offline marketing opportunities that will flow nicely with your new website.
-
Yes. I offer ongoing support for businesses that want to continue improving performance or growing their product catalog, whether through small updates or more strategic initiatives.
